A growing and collaborative public practice firm is looking for a Junior Manager with around 6 years’ of public practice experience to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to take on leadership responsibilities, manage your own client work, and work closely with Managers and Partners on complex matters — all while continuing to build your career.
What You’ll Do
- Review financial statements and tax returns for Companies, Trusts, Partnerships & Family Groups
- Review and mentor junior staff to ensure work is accurate and compliant
- Prepare and review BAS, Payroll Tax, WorkCover & other statutory lodgements
- Assist on more complex tax matters, including CGT, Div 7A, restructures, and trust distributions
- Prepare advisory reports such as cashflows, budgets and value-add reporting
- Manage your own workflow and contribute to a portion of your client portfolio
- Build strong client relationships through responsiveness and technical expertise
About You
- CA/CPA qualified
- 5–7 years’ experience in Australian Public Practice
- Confident with technical compliance and advisory work
- Experience reviewing staff work or mentoring junior team members
- Strong client communication and relationship skills
- Organised, proactive, and ready to take on leadership responsibilities
