About the FirmAre you a Business Services Manager looking to join a growing, technology-driven advisory firm where you can genuinely own and develop client relationships?
Our client is a privately owned advisory firm located in the heart of the CBD. Established in 2015 and led by three hands-on Partners, the firm provides tax, financial and wealth management advice to individuals, family group, and SME clients.
The firm have approximately 30 - 35 staff onshore and additional offshore support, the business has experienced consistent growth, including several recent acquisitions - most recently adding $1.2m in fees to the practice. As a result, there is a clear progression pathway available.
Operating from a brand-new, modern office space on George Street, this is a progressive and forward-thinking firm with strong systems, dynamic leadership, and a genuinely collaborative culture.
About the Role
Due to continued growth and recent acquisitions, an opportunity has arisen for a Business Services Manager to take ownership of a diverse and high-quality client portfolio while playing a key role in the firm’s next stage of expansion
Some of the responsibilities include:
- Managing and strengthening client relationships across a diverse portfolio
- Providing tax advisory and structuring advice
- Reviewing compliance work including tax returns, financial statements, BAS and related reporting
- Acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for clients
- Mentoring and supporting junior team members
- Assisting with integration of newly acquired client portfolios
- Contributing to firm-wide growth initiatives and process improvements
Skills & Experience
- CA or CPA qualified
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Business Services & Tax
- Strong advisory capability
- Proven ability to manage a client portfolio
- Experience mentoring and reviewing junior staff
- Comfortable working in a technology-focused environment
