Group FP&A ManagerLocation: Mascot, Sydney
Rate: $850-$900 per day + super
Contract: Initial 6 month contract
Our client is a private equity-backed organisation, seeking a commercially astute and hands-on Group FP&A professional to join their high-performing finance team.
This is a pivotal group-level role where all business units report into you, providing the opportunity to influence senior leadership, drive performance improvement, and shape the future direction of the finance function with scope to transition permanently and build out a team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the group-wide budgeting and forecasting process across all business units
• Deliver high-quality board reporting and performance analysis
• Provide commercial insights and strategic recommendations to improve business performance
• Partner closely with operational leaders to drive accountability and results
• Develop and enhance group reporting frameworks and financial models
• Utilise ERP systems for reporting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Support ongoing performance improvement and transformation initiatives
Skills & Experience:
• Extensive experience in FP&A, ideally within a private equity or fast-paced commercial environment
• Proven experience at group level with exposure to multi-entity structures
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and board reporting capability
• Commercially minded with the ability to translate numbers into strategic insight
• Hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a dynamic environment
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including Board and senior leadership exposure
