About the role
The firm are looking for a Senior Accountant to join their growing team; they would also be open to Intermediate Accountants looking to make the move up to Senior.
This role will be key in being able to help manage a well-established portfolio of exciting clients – including SME’s up to $120million in turnover.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing financial statements and taxation returns for companies, partnerships, trusts, and individuals
- Assisting with taxation issues, including GST, CGT, FBT, and Div7
- Preparing and lodging Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS)
- Managing client interactions and responsibilities
- Mentoring and training junior staff members including some review work
- 3+ years of experience in Business Services
- Proficiency with Xero
- Completed or currently studying towards your CA/CPA qualification
- A strong understanding of tax and accounting fundamentals
- Excellent career progression & development – This role can quickly progress onto Supervisor
