Assistant Accountant – Entertainment IndustryCBD Location | $80k + Super | Big Business, Broad Role
We’re working with a well-established, large-scale entertainment business based in the close to the CBD, known for its fantastic culture, collaborative environment, and genuine work-life balance. While the business is large, the role is anything but narrow, you’ll get exposure across a wide range of accounting responsibilities and work closely with a energetic and collaborative finance team.

The Role You’ll be an integral part of a sizeable finance team, contributing across:
- Process and review high volumes of supplier invoices and employee expense claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policy
- Manage the corporate credit card programme, including reconciliations, monitoring spend, and resolving discrepancies
- Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations
- Maintain the fixed asset register
- Prepare and post month-end journals, including accruals and prepayments
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and assist with month-end close activities
- Support the year-end audit process
- Working within a large ERP system
- Previous experience working in a large finance team
- Hands-on experience with a large ERP system
- Have a Degree in Accounting with 1+ years experience in a relevant finance role
- Solid accounting fundamentals and attention to detail
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Curious, proactive, and keen to learn
