Senior Accountant - Business Services- Clear progression matrix with development based on capability

- Flexible working hours with core hours around 8.30am-5pm, 7:30-4pm, or 9am-6pm

This mid to large accounting firm continues to grow organically and strategically, now employing around 60 people across Business Services, SMSF, Bookkeeping and support teams. The firm is led by 5 Equity Partners and 2 Principals, supported by strong management layers, onshore staff and experienced offshore staff who work almost as an extension of the onshore team, working with them side by side.
The leadership team operates with transparency, clear communication, and a genuine open door approach. The firm has a refreshed mission and values, a clear growth strategy, and an active focus on innovation, including an AI project currently underway to complement Business Services.

About the Role
This Senior Accountant role sits within a structured business services team and offers broad exposure across clients, Partners and technical matters.
You will:
- Work on a variety of clients across all different structures, and multi-entity groups
- Maintain heavy client contact and act as a trusted point of contact
- Prepare financial statements and tax returns across all entities
- Be involved in advisory conversations alongside Partners and Managers & the advisory team
- Handle CGT and Division 7A matters within the compliance team
- Operate with a self-review mindset, supported by structured review and training
About You
- CA or CPA qualified or close to completion
- Technically strong with solid experience in public practice
- Comfortable managing clients and building long term relationships
- Confident working independently while contributing to a team environment
- Approachable, engaged and open to learning and growth
- Someone who values culture, collaboration and clear communication
