About the firm
Charterhouse are partnered with a reputable mid-tier accounting and advisory firm with multiple offices across Sydney, offering the support of a larger practice with a close-knit team culture (Around 25 per office).

The firm works with a high-quality client base including HNWIs, SMEs, franchise groups, and large investment structures, providing exposure to complex and interesting work.

About the role
The firm are looking for a Senior Accountant to join their growing team; they would also be open to Intermediate Accountants looking to make the move up to Senior.

This role will be key in being able to help manage a well-established portfolio of exciting clients.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing financial statements and taxation returns
  • Assisting with taxation issues, including GST, CGT, FBT, and Div7
  • Preparing and lodging Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS)
  • Managing client interactions and responsibilities
  • Mentoring and training junior staff members including some review work
Skills & Experience:
  • 4+ years of experience in Business Services
  • Proficiency with Xero
  • Completed or currently studying towards your CA/CPA qualification
  • A strong understanding of tax and accounting fundamentals
