About the role
The firm are looking for a Business Services Manager to join their team due to growth , with their Sydney office quadrupling in size in the last 3 years.
This role will work closely with the directors, developing the business as well as managing existing clients and the day-to-day running of the firm. This role will also work across both compliance and advisory.
This firm work across a range of excellent clients; their bread and butter are Agriculture clients with turnovers up to $500million however, they also have a lot of clients such as UHNW, Construction, Manufacturing etc.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of around $800-900k in fees, along with 2 Accountants
- Clients: Wide range of clients across agriculture clients with turnovers up to $500million however, they also have a lot of clients such as UHNW, Construction, Manufacturing etc.
- Tax planning and restructuring advice
- Training and development of staff reporting into you
- Preparation, delegation, and review of compliance work including tax returns, financial statements, activity statements, FBT etc.
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team, developing future leaders
- Work alongside partners on firm-wide strategy, business development, and growth initiatives
- CA or CPA qualified
- Minimum 5+ years in Business Services & Tax
- Strong advisory skills
- Ability to manage portfolio whilst managing & motivating a team
- Experience managing & mentoring junior staff
