Job description
Primary Purpose
To provide confidential, comprehensive and quality executive and administrative support at a senior level.
Duties:
- To provide high level executive support to the Chief Information Security Officer
- Co-ordinate and schedule meetings, prepare meeting agendas, minutes and undertake follow up action as required
- Draft outgoing communications for the Director as required
- To maintain an effective overview of the Directors diaries, events and commitments
- Maintain and prioritise diary, book in appointments, reshuffle appointments
- Prioritise issues to determine importance, urgency, and if the matter can be referred to a more appropriate person
- Coordinate correspondence and prepare ministerial briefings and submissions
- Preparing agendas and papers and presentations for meetings
- Organising meetings, catering, managing RSVPS
- Coordinating Travel and accommodation itineraries
- Administrative and secretariat support
- Records maintenance using TRIM
- Assist in research and compilation of reports as required
Selection Criteria:
- Experience working within NSW Government is essential
- Proficient with TRIM for workflow, as well as records management
- Familiar with ministerial and parliamentary processes
- Demonstrated skills and experience in the provision of professional Executive support at a senior level
- A high level of initiative, confidentiality and discretion
- Demonstrated ability to work calmly and efficiently in a high pressure environment with a demanding workload
- The ability to handle several tasks concurrently, prioritsing tasks to meet deadlines
- Well developed expertise in computing skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point
- Excellent communication, presentation and report writing skills
- Experience with SAP or similar
