Role summary

An opportunity to join a well-established, high-performing professional services organisation in a key finance position. Reporting to a commercially focused leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring financial integrity, delivering meaningful reporting, and partnering with stakeholders to support strategic decision-making and business performance.

This role suits a technically strong, commercially minded accountant who enjoys both ownership and influence.


About the role


  • Lead the end-to-end month-end process, including preparation of financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Prepare timely and insightful management reports for senior stakeholders
  • Maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards
  • Support budgeting and forecasting cycles, including detailed variance analysis
  • Partner with operational leaders to provide financial insights and performance analysis
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency
  • Assist with audit preparation and statutory reporting requirements
 

Skills & experience
 

  • CA/CPA qualified
  • Proven capability in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
  • Commercially astute with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage non-finance stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive, continuous improvement mindset
