Education body based in the northern suburbs | $80 - $95,000 + super | Full-time, permanent role | Support the wider organisation with professional development plans

About the company

Our client an education body, based in the northern suburbs are looking for a Learning and Development Advisor to join their Professional Development team. You will be reporting directly into the Professional Development Manager and working alongside one other Advisor. You will be supporting with wider organisation with professional development plans, resources, and training to upskill. Generally scoping out the knowledge gaps across the organisation.   The role is full-time and is based on site.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Attend professional development meetings and support with growth plans
  • Organise and run training sessions
  • Ensure industry best practice and professional learning into all training design strategies and initiatives
  • Provide specialist advice on current trainings and working with internal SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) to ensure learning solutions are customised to organisational needs
  • Utilise a wide variety of training modalities including classroom based, virtual classrooms and eLearning to facilitate high quality learning experiences
  • Keep internal systems up to date
  • Adhoc projects as required

You will have the following:

  • Ability and experience working closely with stakeholders to identify training needs whilst building strong relationships with internal teams
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 (equivalent or higher- desirable)
  • Experience in delivering training and/or presentation and facilitation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication including report writing and presenting
  • Experience working in the education industry is highly desirable or within a compliance / governed environment
