Our client, an aged care provider is looking for a Payroll Officer to join their payroll team. You will be working alongside another payroll officer and reporting into the Payroll Manager.
This is a full-time on-going role. The company are based southeast of CBD, in newly refurbished offices, with parking onsite. They operate a hybrid work model, with 1 day working from home.
I am looking for an experienced payroll professional who is system savvy and has a background in aged care or healthcare.
About the Role:
- End-to-end payroll processing for both permanent and casual staff
- Maintain employee data, pay rates, leave entitlements, and employment changes
- Respond to payroll queries and liaise with HR and other departments to ensure data accuracy
- Identify and support process improvements within payroll systems
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, awards, and enterprise agreements
You will have:
- Proven payroll experience in aged care or healthcare
- Strong understanding of relevant awards, legislation, and enterprise agreements
- Experience using Humanforce or similar payroll and rostering systems (highly desirable)
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of data integrity
- Strong communication skills to explain payroll matters clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- A team player with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
- High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling employee information
