Job description
Accounts Officer | St Peters | Up To $75k + SuperA growing global business in the product distribution space is looking for a Accounts Officer to join their small Australian team. This is a hands-on, transactional role supporting the local Finance Manager, with exposure to both day-to-day processing and month-end activities.
This is a great opportunity for someone at an entry to mid-level looking to build their experience in a supportive environment.
The role: Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you’ll be responsible for:
- Processing Accounts Payable, including monthly payment runs
- Managing Accounts Receivable, including daily monitoring and collections
- Assisting with bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Supporting month-end close, including journals and reporting tasks
- Generating weekly reports
- Assisting with annual audit requirements
- 1–3 years’ experience in a finance or accounts role
- Comfortable working in a highly transactional environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage routine processes
- Good communication skills
- Looking for a long-term opportunity with room to grow
- Flexible start and finish times
- 1 day work from home per week
- Onsite parking available
