An experienced payroll specialist to provide support key clients for a mid-tier accounting firm with end-to-end payroll, just have experience with payroll tax across different states- Join a mid-tier accounting provider as a Payroll Specialist, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, while contributing to a successful team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage the fortnightly and weekly payroll cycle, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Handle payroll adjustments, terminations, leave reconciliations, and one-off payments for a number of their key clients across Australia.
- Assist with process documentation, identify potential improvements, and ensure a strong focus on audit and governance.
- Interpret awards , validate calculations, identify discrepancies, and take corrective actions.
- Deliver exceptional customer service with a positive and practical approach, maintaining high standards of communication and service.
- Proven experience handling payroll end to end ideally supporting different clients.
- Extensive experience with payroll systems.
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, including taxation, superannuation, terms, and leave.
- Proficiency in time and attendance systems, award/enterprise agreement interpretation, and payroll system integration.
- Strong analytical skills, organisational skills and ability to multitask.
- Excellent computer literacy, particularly in Excel.
