Job description

  • Experienced in working with an EDRMS (preferably SharePoint/RecordPoint 365)
  • Qualifications in Information Management (Cert IV or higher
  • Understanding of State / Federal record legislation

About the company: 

 

You will be working for a national organisation in the education industry. They are large progressive company.

You will be working full time, initially for a 6-month contract which could be extended further. You will have the opportunity to work from home and depending on the road map you may need to go back into the office, which are based in the CBD.

This role is to start ASAP

 

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Transition (digital) Support: -    
    • Assist business units identify and cleanse electronic data on network drives for ingest into the new eDRMS.
    • Managing Sites and Libraries in SharePoint/Records 365, including records transition, creating folders, and file plans
    • Encourage use of eDRMS
    • Provide end-user training and support in using and navigating SharePoint and Records365
  • Archival Support: -   
    • Prepare electronic and physical records for transfer to NAA
    • Complete documentation for transfer to NAA including adding transfer data, converted source records and digital content to Systems. 
  • Records Management: -
    • Managing Sites and Libraries in SharePoint/Records 365, including records transition, creating folders, and file plans
    • Business process mapping and encouraging use of compliant processes and systems
    • Operational eDRMS training support

 

You will have the following: 

  • Demonstrated working knowledge of emerging and contemporary and compliant records management practices.
  • Interpretation and application of Retention and Disposal Authorities
  • Demonstrated strong skills and experience in the use of SharePoint/Records 365, Microsoft computer applications,
  • Experience transitioning an organisation to a SharePoint/Records 365 environment,
  • Ability to train users in new systems
  • Demonstrated experience in the ability interpret, classify/index records according to a business classification scheme and in the identification of records and other content for migration to eDRMS including previous experience with Network drives data cleansing.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective internal and external working relationships to ensure obligations are met
  • High level written, verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills, with the ability to draft communications, quick user guides, and other training support documents.
