Are you an experienced Auditor ready to step into a role where you’ll gain real client exposure, lead engagements, and fast-track your progression?
We’re partnering with a well-established mid-tier accounting and advisory firm in Brisbane that continues to grow its Audit division off the back of strong client demand. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Auditor who wants to work closely with high-quality, privately owned businesses across a diverse range of industries, or even a skilled Intermediate who is looking to step up and take more responsibility.
The Opportunity
As a Senior Auditor, you’ll play a key role in delivering end-to-end audit engagements while mentoring junior staff and building strong client relationships.
You’ll work with an impressive portfolio of clients, primarily privately owned and mid-market organisations across:
- Property & Construction
- Tourism & Hospitality
- Mining & Resources
- Government
- Not-for-Profit
- Retail
- Manufacturing
- Health & Aged Care
- Funds Management
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion
- Prepare and review financial statements and audit working papers
- Identify risk areas and provide practical recommendations to clients
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Mentor and support junior and intermediate auditors
- Liaise with Managers and Partners on engagement strategy
About You
- 3–6+ years’ experience in external audit within a public practice firm
- CA/CPA qualified (or near completion)
- Strong knowledge of Australian auditing and accounting standards
- Experience leading audits and reviewing junior staff work
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Exposure to mid-market or privately owned clients is highly regarded
