About our client
My client is a well-known national healthcare company based in the Lower North Shore who is looking to hire an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their team, reporting to the Finance Manager.
3-4 years previous AP experience essential.
About the Role:
- Management of the payment cycle to trade creditors, including:
- Successfully manage the accounts payable cycle
- Ensure that all third party invoices are entered into the system and paid in a timely manner Reconciliation of vendor accounts as required
- Process accruals and prepayments
- General ledger reconciliations – Trade Creditors
- The management of monthly expense accruals
- Staff expenses
- General support of the Finance Department management team as required
About You:
- Experience working high volume, full function, end to end Accounts Payable
- Navision experience – highly desired but not essential
- Ability to think outside the box to solve queries and discrepancies
- Strong communication and time management skills
- An exceptional eye for detail
- Strong Excel skills
- Great work ethic and can-do attitude
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
