About our client

My client is a well-known national healthcare company based in the Lower North Shore who is looking to hire an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their team, reporting to the Finance Manager.
 
3-4 years previous AP experience essential.
 
About the Role:

  • Management of the payment cycle to trade creditors, including:
  • Successfully manage the accounts payable cycle 
  • Ensure that all third party invoices are entered into the system and paid in a timely manner Reconciliation of vendor accounts as required
  • Process accruals and prepayments  
  • General ledger reconciliations – Trade Creditors 
  • The management of monthly expense accruals 
  • Staff expenses
  • General support of the Finance Department management team as required 

 
About You:

  • Experience working high volume, full function, end to end Accounts Payable
  • Navision experience – highly desired but not essential
  • Ability to think outside the box to solve queries and discrepancies
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • An exceptional eye for detail
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Great work ethic and can-do attitude
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
