A well-known repeatable Finance company, a high-profile employer with a great culture and leadership team located in the CBD and they’re seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their team on a temporary assignment.
About the role:
Working in a dynamic team, you will take ownership of part of the accounts payable function within the Finance team. We are looking for a pro-active, efficient individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment with exceptional attention to detail.
In this role you will responsible for the delivery of the Accounts Payable function, including:
- Processing invoices
- Chasing invoice approvals
- Preparing payment runs
- Track and process expenses
- Use of banking systems for online payments
- Responding to enquiries via phone and email
- Maintain vendor files
- Creditor reconciliation
- General administrative duties including filing
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role you will be an experienced accounts payable individual, ideally within Finance or any other high-volume environment.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in full function accounts payable roles
- Extensive purchase order processing experience
- End to end Accounts Payable
- Exposure to accounting software systems
- Proficient use of Excel - including pivot tables
- Ability to prioritise work and meet strict deadlines
- Strong communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and reconciliation skills
