Job description
- Hornsby Location
- 6-month contract initially
- Up to $400p/d + super
- Charterhouse is a weekly pay agency
Play a pivotal role within the asset services group of this State Government agency. The department is carrying out major upgrades and maintenance strategies to ensure every asset is of high quality.
Key accountabilities:
- Liaise with relative stakeholders, contractors and other asset management staff
- Support the development, design and construction phases of projects
- Prepare project briefs, status reports, financial information and other associated documentation to inform decision making on the delivery of facilities management projects
- Provide advice and input to contribute to the development of technical specifications and layouts for individual minor facilities management projects
- Provide a point of contact for Principals to respond to all facilities management and maintenance enquiries for identified facilities
- Coordinate immediate responses to emergencies such as fire, flood and storm damage
- Work with Principals to develop lease and licence agreements
- Monitor, record and report on program progress in line with processes and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements and undertake analysis of the financial position of facilities management programs
Essential criteria:
- Knowledge and understanding of infrastructure services, client base and stakeholders, or similar industry knowledge
- Previous experience in a similar role for State Government
- Knowledge of and a commitment to Work Health and Safety (WHS) Policy
- Drivers Licence
- This role requires travel across the assigned area
