Join this communications team within a local government authority to produce a high quality document detailing Council's advocacy priorities for Victorian budget submissions. The role will report directly to the Manager of Communications and will follow strict project deadlines. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Engaging with stakeholders across the business and re-develop complex information in order to create the final document
  • Using project management methodology, engage and influence relationships to deliver priorities in a timely manner
  • Meeting and advising subject matter experts around content 
  • Creating a reader friendly document for the good of the wider community

Requirements:

  • Previous marketing and publishing experience would be advantageous 
  • An understanding of local government documentation
  • Experience working in a project role to deadlines would be beneficial
  • Excellent written and communication skills
