About the company
My client an ASX listed business are seeking an experienced Corporate Accountant to join their finance team on a 10-month fixed term maternity contract.
About the role / Key Responsibilities
- Bank account management and complex reconciliations
- Prepare month end financial reports
- Financial accounting including balance sheet general ledger reconciliations
- Month End accruals and journals
- P&L review, Variance commentary with department heads
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Maintain exceptional reporting and communication with internal and external key liaisons
- Build and maintain exceptional communication with department heads
Requirements for the role will include
- CPA/CA Qualified
- Experience working in a similar role (ideally within property however this is not essential)
- Proven ability in financial and management accounting
- Excellent communication skills; we require someone polished and professional but at the same time good humoured and level headed
- Hands on approach
- Strong attention to detail
