This Local Council located in South Sydney is looking for an experienced Development Assessment Officer to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and conduct prelodgement meetings
- Prepare and asses development applications as per Council regulation
- Assessment of development applications
- Manage high profile projects
- Correctly interpret legislation
- Liaising with applicants and planners
- Manage legal issues including representing council in Land and Environment Court
About you:
- Previous experience working for Local Council in a similar role is a must!!
- Tertiary qualifications within Town Planning or a related discipline
- Proven experience in a similar capacity
- NSW Driver’s license
