The Company
Based in Sydney, this Accounting and Financial planning company are growing their team and require support in the way of Office Operations Administration. They are a sociable company who enjoy Friday drinks and various other regular team building events and love to make people feel welcome. They are offering a growth opportunity for someone with a passion for the industry. This is a brand new, part time, permanent opportunity which offers flexibility with hours – this is essentially a job share role, supporting the Head of Operations. This role could potentially go Permanent in the future.
General Duties
- Support the Head of Operations, job share day to day Administrative tasks
- Prepare, organise and schedule management meetings
- File and maintain sensitive HR records
- Recruitment process – placing ads through to induction administration and scheduling of training
- Keep HR policies and documentation up to date and maintained
- Maintain IT subscriptions and logins for staff
- Help prepare spreadsheets for salary packages/budgets
- Liaise with external consultants and maintain HR training
- Help prepare and schedule agenda for Board meetings
- Prepare minutes and Action points
- Update weekly time sheets
Experience Needed
- 5+ years minimum experience in a fast paced Administration role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Accountancy Firm or Financial Planning background
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work to deadlines and changing priorities
- Ability to multitask and work autonomously
- Approachable and trust worthy, honest communicator
Qualifications Required
- Relevant Accounting Qualifications i.e Diploma
- HR Admin Experience or relevant Quals
