About the Company

Are you interested in working for a NFP organisation? This not-for-profit company provides services to people with disabilities. This well-established company provides services including, but not limited to, the areas of employment, independent living skills, community integration, education, leisure and recreation. They promote a trustworthy, caring, respectful and supportive service to their customers. The IT Manager is responsible for ensuring that the organisation is adequately informed, resourced and trained in the use of various hardware and applications to support their staff to achieve the goals and aspirations of the people they support.


About the Role: 

  • Lead the implementation of the strategy to meet the key deliverables such as update of organisation hardware, migrating the data to their cloud and replacing /integrating their applications 
  • Lead and manage projects within the context of their ICT strategy
  • Manage the appointment and relationship of strategic partnerships with ICT hardware, software and service vendors
  • Maintain knowledge of latest technology, equipment and applications
  • Develop and present budgetary needs and expenses for their ICT requirements
  • Manage the planning, development, evaluation, coordination and management of all ICT systems
  • Evaluate alternatives, perform appropriate cost benefit analysis, and recommend solutions that maximise effectiveness and minimise costs commensurate with acceptable risks
  • Provisioning/supporting system audits


Skills/Qualifications:

  • A Tertiary IT related degree
  • Extensive experience in ICT including Mac/Windows client and server, and administrative systems, including recent technical certifications
  • Experience with managing cloud migrations
  • Experience in managing Office 365, Azure, SharePoint, Exchange
  • Experience developing business cases
  • Experience with the creation and adoption of ICT Strategic plans
  • Experience with maintaining a positive budget
  • Understanding of server and operating systems and applications used within commercial and not for profit settings
  • Experience in managing software deployment
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting skills in networking, hardware and software


Desirable:

  • Master’s in Business or IT similarities
  • Experience with the Microsoft Power Suite - Dynamics 365, Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, Power BI
  • Someone with previous experience in an NFP
  • Exposure to Azure Data Lake and/or ETL tools
