Intermediate Insolvency Accountant
 

  • Up to $70k package including super
  • Industry leading internal training and external ARITA training
  • Get involved in special matter work


About the Company

This position is with a well known and high performing, boutique firm in the Sydney CBD. The partner is an ex Big 4 Restructuring partner who is extremely well networked and pulls in a range of work.
Their structure means that you will get to work on more advisory and special matters, faster than you would do in any other firm.

About the Role
 

  • You will manage a team of 3 juniors who will be doing most of the ‘transactional’ work
  • Work on a wide range of liquidations, administrations, DOCA’s and turnaround projects
  • Manage workflow for the juniors
  • Work directly with the partner on advisory projects such as workout and restructures
  • Run client meetings and conduct face to face interview with company directors


Skills & Experience
 

  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar corporate insolvency role
  • Law degree is preferred, but a bachelor’s degree in commerce, Finance, Accounting or Economics will be accepted
  • Excellent written and verbal communication is a must as you will be managing people
  • A ‘can do’ attitude and a desire to learn
