Job description
An exciting opportunity available for a Junior Assistant Accountant to join my client based in Sydney CBD.
Australian founded company - ASX listed | reputable and growing company | excellent opportunity to learn and develop your accounting skills.
This role is being offered as a permanent full time position | $50k - $55k+super.
You will ideally have 1-2 years experience (not essential) working in a similar role (Accounts Assistant, Accounts Officer type role) and looking for your next move.
Excellent communication (both written and verbal) | ERP system experience (beneficial) | degree qualified & started / starting further studies (CA/CPA) | attention to detail and able to meet deadlines is key.
You will be responsible for:
- Transactional duties such as AP and AR
- Reconciliations (daily)
- Assisting with Payroll inc expenses
- Assisting with month end duties
- Assisting with financial reporting
