About the Role:

This position has a national finance focus to support the financial and management reporting requirements for the group.
This position is part of the national finance team contributing to the implementation of the finance strategy and working collaboratively with the business to ensure a cohesive approach to financial management.

• Assist in the accurate and timely delivery of the group’s monthly and yearly management accounting processes
• Review and analysis of monthly business performance
• Collate and report the business KPIs including analysis and interpretation of performance
• Assist in the weekly P&L process including the maintenance and support for the weekly P&L models, analysis of performance
• Assist in monthly and quarterly reporting requirements
• Update TM1 for all entities on a monthly basis (actuals and forecast)
• Assist in the annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting processes of the business including development of models, presentations, timetables and processes
• Assist project teams on various financial and business projects
• Assist with ad hoc reporting requirements of the business
• Prepare and post standard monthly journals and ad hoc journals as required
• Assist with taxation and statutory reporting as required
• Provide support to the financial accounting team as required

About you:

  • 2+ years experience in similar roles
  • Experience in a financial environment and formal qualifications in an accounting / financial related discipline
  • Chartered accountant or Chartered Practicing Accountant (or working towards completion)
  • Ability to work with diversity and varying demands
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Policy interpretation and implementation
  • Implementation of processes and programmes
  • Knowledge of TM1 or Tier 1 ERP eg. JDEdwards highly desired
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
