Job description

Charterhouse are currently working with an SME services business based in the CBD on a Company Accountant role. This role is an all-round accounts role. performing a variety of daily duties including the monthly production of accounts, manage the BAS, PAYG, payroll and other management reporting requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervision of Payroll processes and payments
  • BAS/FBT/Payroll Tax preparation and lodgement
  • Accounts payable and receivable
  • Month end accounts reconciliations and preparation
  • Financial reporting and audit support
  • Asset entry and depreciation
  • Purchase order entry
  • Site support such as credit applications, external finance reconciliation (Humm,Zip Pay etc

The ideal candidate will:

  • MUST be CA/CPA Qualified – this is non-negotiable
  • Have great attention to detail
  • Have great communication skills to work with the business
  • Must have experience with MYOB
