Having seen continued success over the past few years, this prestigious Finance company has continued to grow from strength to strength. The need for a high calibre program manager with experience in running end-end programs within the lending / loans space has arisen to join their professional and stable team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in successfully delivering the Program on time, on budget, to key stakeholder expectations and to project management standards and quality.
 
The following skills/experience are essential for the position:

  • Organising and leading project teams to assist launching a financial product 
  • Defining, sourcing & managing necessary project/program resources
  • Defining and controlling project schedules to ensure that necessary modules and programs are completed according to the project plan
  • Preparing project budgets, attaining necessary approvals in a timely manner and monitoring project financials and the realisation of defined project benefits
  • Effectively controlling and managing the issues, risks, dependencies, and changes in scope for the solution development
  • Managing stakeholder expectations through the application of stakeholder management disciplines
  • Facilitate and ensure collaboration within the team and across disciplines within the overall program and organisation
  • Ensure compliance with the Company's project management methodology and program and that project deliverables are in accordance with agreed standards
  • Ensure business requirements are well understood and that development activities are aligned to the delivery of these requirements

The Program Manager will need the following core skills:

  • Proven successful program management experience, and strong commercial process knowledge and acumen
  • 4+ years – experience in program management within financial services (ideally lending / loans)
  • Proven ability to manage business and technology teams
  • Strong management of dependencies, issues and risks
  • Excellent team leadership skills
  • Demonstrate broad technology knowledge in financial services specifically within lending / loans 
  • Excellent organisational skills, must be well organised with the ability to organise and coordinate others (including the business stakeholders and project team members)
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills including regular up-to date and accurate written and verbal updates to key stakeholders, and executive sponsors
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues at all levels
