Job description

  • Immediate start - 8 week contract opportunity
  • End to end recruitment role
  • Based in Northern suburbs 

Support this leading and highly regarded organisation within the local government sector, with their end to end recruitment. Working with managers and stakeholders to ensure a high quality recruitment process, working with key stakeholders to understand role requirements and developing relationships. Based in the Northern suburbs this is a 2 month contract role covering a leave period.
Main responsibilities will include:

  • Manage high volume of recruitment ensuring that candidates and hiring managers are kept informed and requirements are met in a timely manner
  • Provide excellent candidate care, informing and supporting candidates throughout the selection process
  • Prepare and post job advertisements 
  • Shortlist applicants in accordance with key selection criteria and legislative requirements
  • Screen candidates (pre- and post-interview) to confirm suitability for role 
  • Coordinate interviews on behalf of hiring managers
  • Contribute to and promote the use of recruitment templates, including position descriptions, advertising and interview guides
  • Support interview panels with room setup, greeting candidates & interview guides as required

The successful candidate will:

  • Previous experience in end to end recruitment process
  • Experience conducting and coordinating interviews
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Current National Police Record Check
