About the Company
Join our newly introduced team as a Data Engineer, where your expertise in Microsoft Full Stack technologies will shine. We're on the lookout for someone with advanced SQL skills, including crafting and optimizing complex queries, managing Stored Procedures, views, and Indexing. Your proficiency should extend to working with ETL Tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, or SSIS.
About the Role
- Develop and maintain robust data pipelines using Microsoft SQL Server, employing T-SQL, stored procedures, functions, and views.
- Implement efficient ETL processes using Azure Data Factory and Synapse to handle data extraction, transformation, and loading seamlessly.
- Collaborate with diverse teams to integrate data from multiple sources into centralized data repositories.
- Ensure peak database performance, troubleshoot issues, and uphold data integrity and security standards.
- Utilize Azure Blob Storage effectively for streamlined data storage and retrieval.
- Harness the power of Azure DevOps for version control, continuous integration, and deployment of data solutions.
- Create compelling data visualizations and reports using Power BI, leveraging DAX and Power Query.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of proven experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong command of Microsoft Full Stack technologies.
- Experience working with Accounting & Finance systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, and adeptness in database development.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, and Blob Storage.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps for efficient management of data projects and deployments.
- Working knowledge of Python for scripting and automation purposes.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
- Bonus skills in Power BI, DAX, and Power Query for enhanced data visualization and analytics.
- Hybrid working - 2/3 days on site
