Job description
One of the world’s top 20 general insurance and reinsurance companies are looking to strengthen their commercial marine underwriting team here in Sydney with a Senior Underwriting influence.
About the role:
- You will be required to underwriter complex marine risks, manage portfolios/accounts with intermediaries and develop whilst maintain key market relationships/prospects.
- Successful underwriting results and growth via new business and renewals in accordance with business objectives and budgets
- Market facing business development lead with a conscious focus on servicing current clients
What is required:
- Ability to monitor, manage and adapt to market conditions and trends
- Well-rounded and seasoned Marine market knowledge and experience
- Proven success Underwriting Marine risks
- Enthusiasm towards business development and portfolio management, seeking new prospects whilst servicing current clients
