Test Lead - Insurance

Job description

A contract opportunity for 2 Test Leads has come up for one of my best clients, to work on a market leading project, one with a massive delivery portfolio and an opportunity for an enabler, thought leader and testing evangelist to really get stuck in and help the program test manager and various test mangers across the project coordinate testers and other engineers to ensure the project is delivered by the end of Q3 2021. You'll be given considerable resources and a great team to work with, with a unified goal in mind.

This project is heavily driven by a large scale data migration in the life insurance space, so experience with either (or both) would be a massive plus, and candidates with both will be given preference. Vendor management, mainframe experience and strong engagement with highly technical stakeholders will be a plus. They are looking to develop an Agile culture within this project, so a "get it done" mindset will be essential.

Skills we're looking for:

• 10+ years in testing
• 4+ years as a test lead
• Ideally experience in insurance, especially life insurance 
• Strong vendor management experience
• Knowledge of mainframe testing
• Prior project experience in data migration

Good things to have:

• Life3 experience
• Exposure to JCL or Salesforce
• Servant leadership mindset
• Agile experience

There's a great rate on offer, and while it will be an very high performing project and you'll be in quite an involved project, it's going to be a massively satisfying piece of work. There's a well structured team and strong ethos through the entire testing function, so this isn't a role to miss.
