Job description

This Local Government organisation is currently at the fore of their wide-reaching Digital Transformation program. As such, their online and digital team is growing and they’re looking for a Website Content Administrator to join their team to work alongside SME’s in the publishing of content online.   

  

The Role  

  • Create and integrate content for the web and intranet. 

  • Manage day-to-day content uploading in web content management systems. 

  • Ensure content is accurate and meets style, tone and marketing message requirements, as well as reflecting the brand. 

  • Coordinate the production of accessible web content in line with WCAG 2.1 Level AA compliance. 

  • Writing web content optimised for search engines. 

  • Generate, edit, publish and share regular content (original text, images, video, links) aligned to business needs and campaigns. 

  • Ensure delivery of quality and timely content in line with business needs to enhance and maximise objectives and customer experience. 

  • Liaise with staff at all levels of the organisation 

 

To be successful in the role, you will display: 

  • Minimum 2-years' experience in similar projects publishing online content.   

  • Previous experience in digital design and understanding of human-centred design. 

  • Experience using Content Management Systems is a must – additional use of Drupal is an added bonus 

  • Excellent consulting, writing, editing, presentation and communication skills. 

  • Broad understanding of user experience UX, wireframes, architecture and functionality. 

  • Demonstrated ability to work flexibly, effectively and cooperatively as part of a team in a demanding work environment. 

  • Be comfortable writing both creative and technical content. 

  • Influence successful outcomes with stakeholders.
