About the Firm & Role:

Boutique accounting firm located in Epping seeking a part time accountant to join their team.  The firm began over 30 years ago and they offer Business Services, Financial Planning, SMSF, Taxation & Compliance services to their established client base. 

It will be an autonomous role and a real opportunity for the right person to come along and make a serious difference within the business. Standard working hours are 9am-5.00pm and they enjoy team get togethers and socialising on occasions such as Birthdays, EOFY, Christmas etc. 

They are a firm that appreciate people have family and other commitments outside of work and adapt to this as much as possible to promote a flexible working environment to suit all employee needs.

Their client base varies from small to medium businesses, and professional and service industries.

You will be main point of contact for an allocated client portfolio and your duties would include, but not be limited to:

• Preparing company and trust tax returns for a range of large corporation clients
• Work with an exciting and diverse client portfolio
• Assisting with taxation issues including GST, CGT, FBT and Div7;
• Working closely with Partners and Senior Management team on specialist tax matters
• Be involved in engagements from beginning to end
• Significant client responsibility and interaction
• Mentorship of junior staff members

Skills: 

• CA/CPA Qualified 
• 4 + years experience working in a professional services environment
• Excellent communication skills (will be speaking directly to clients)
