Business Services Assistant Manager /Supervisor

About the Company
This mid-tier firm based in North Sydney are looking for a Supervisor to join their growing team. This firm was established over 80 years ago and are now an AFR Top 100 firm. About the Role
Working under an experienced manager, your main responsibilities will include:
- Servicing a portfolio of diverse clients both Sydney and regionally based, including medico business clients
- Liaising directly with clients to develop and build strong relationships, and identify opportunities for business development
- Working across a client base that is focused on a mix of high net wealth family groups and self-managed superannuation funds
- Dealing with other service professionals such as legal representatives
- Coaching, mentoring and supervision of junior staff members
- Providing support for ad-hoc special assignments and value-add work for clients, including business performance reviews, development of tax planning strategies and attending to estate planning matters and wealth preservation
- Tax compliance for all entities including partnerships, trusts, companies and SMSF
Skills & Experience
- At least 4 years’ experience in a similar role
- CA qualification with a Business / Commerce degree within Accounting
- Demonstrated experience in accounting and taxation in a professional services environment (business services or similar), focusing on SMEs and/or private clients
- Be a strong team player, and be able to work both autonomously and as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; articulate and well-presented
