Job description

Our client requires a proactive Facilities Officer to join their team in a Government Council Office. The role is initially a two-month contract with the possibility of extension.
 
Responsibilities include:

  • Management of community building facilities, tennis courts, grounds and sports fields
  • Coordination of online booking systems for sports facilities and grounds
  • Provide information and Customer Service to customers of the Council facilities
  • Ensure all cleaning and maintenance issues are dealt with on a timely manner and according to Council protocol
  • Support, and provide assistance to the Facilities Management group where necessary

To be considered for this role, you will need to have;

  • Experience in working in a similar regulatory environment
  • Excellent use of computers and working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, database management and the internet.
  • The ability to develop and sustain relationships with Council customers and colleagues
  • The ability to work to deadlines in a fast pace and dynamic environment
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, including good written and spoken English.
  • Experience in responding to internal and external customer enquiries.
  • Understanding of EEO, WHS and work area safety practices
  • Drivers licence.
