Job description
Our client requires a proactive Facilities Officer to join their team in a Government Council Office. The role is initially a two-month contract with the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities include:
- Management of community building facilities, tennis courts, grounds and sports fields
- Coordination of online booking systems for sports facilities and grounds
- Provide information and Customer Service to customers of the Council facilities
- Ensure all cleaning and maintenance issues are dealt with on a timely manner and according to Council protocol
- Support, and provide assistance to the Facilities Management group where necessary
To be considered for this role, you will need to have;
- Experience in working in a similar regulatory environment
- Excellent use of computers and working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, database management and the internet.
- The ability to develop and sustain relationships with Council customers and colleagues
- The ability to work to deadlines in a fast pace and dynamic environment
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills, including good written and spoken English.
- Experience in responding to internal and external customer enquiries.
- Understanding of EEO, WHS and work area safety practices
- Drivers licence.
