Job description

• Hands on role working for an ASX listed business 
• Key focus on mergers & acquisitions 
• C.$200,000 + super & bonus 

The Role:

You will be working very closely with the CFO, CEO and divisional GMs. The role is a leadership position that requires someone with an excellent technical background, whilst also being able to provide commercial and strategic counsel on acquisition and major projects.

The Group Financial Controller is responsible for the production and delivery of consolidated ASX financial management reporting. Driving company financial performance, you will execute strategy, manage and improve processes and identify risks and opportunities to deliver profit. 

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the delivery of monthly, half yearly and annual financial and management reporting.
- Build and develop a high performing finance team
- Analyse and identify opportunities to improve the reporting process
- Support the CFO and GMs in growth strategy, including acquisitions and growth opportunities 
- Build and maintain strong internal and external relations with key stakeholders

Skills and Experience:

- Chartered accountant that has worked within large and smaller organisations
- Extensive experience dealing with financial and management reporting for an ASX listed business 
- Able to influence and make strategic decisions and implement them
- Ability to challenge decisions and improve systems and processes
- Strong experience in managing and developing teams
