Job description

- Initial contract until 21/2/2023
- Up to $70 p/h + super
NSW Government Agency is looking for an Project Coordinator to implement and manage multiple innovation & start-up programs and initiatives.
Collaborate with the Associate Director and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with best practice project management methodologies, to contribute to the achievement NSW Government’s objectives.
The Role:
- Design and execute a range of programs, projects, processes and mechanisms, to support start up and scaleup innovation, and to contribute to the achievement of Division initiatives.
- Manage the development and implementation of grants programs and initiatives aligned to ensure alignment with Division priorities.
- Collaborate across Government and with key external innovation stakeholders (for example universities, accelerators and incubators, SMEs and start-ups)
- Manage cross-team project groups in developing and delivering programs and initiatives
- Develop and maintain implementation plans
- Prepare quality evidence-based written briefs, proposals, correspondence and reports which effectively communicate progress, recommendations and identify areas for improvement to the Director, Executive Director, Deputy Secretary, the Secretary and the Minister.
- Provide training, advice and support on program design to staff to enhance staff capability
About you:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or an equivalent in experience
- Experience in project management processes
- Experience in working with start-up, scaleup and technology businesses and research organisations
- Proven experience working within the Government
- Excellent communication and Stakeholder engagement skills
