Job description
Senior Management Accountant | FBP
- NSW State Government
- 6 Months Contract - Potential Extension
- $550 - $650 per day + Super
- CBD | WFH 3 days
About the Role
- Support business and financial operations across Division by providing accurate and reliable results that meet stakeholders expectations
- Support month-end & year-end activities, preparation of Budget and Forecast
- Review of profit & loss, balance sheet and cash flow
- Reconcile financial statements, provide monthly reports with commentary
- Educate and support stakeholders to develop financial capability and improve accountability in financial business decision-making
- Undertake financial analysis including recommendations for investment strategies
- Develop, implement and report on financial key performance indicators
Experienced and skills needed in
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- CA or CPA qualifications (or working towards)
- Systems experience including SAP (BW), TM1, Excel
- Recent 2 - 4 years of Management Accountant and Business Partnering experience
- Good team player with positive work collaboration skills
- Government and Independent Agencies experience advantageous
