This NFP are offering a unique opportunity to contribute to projects of national significance whilst growing your skills in a supportive and dynamic environment. This is permanent, full time and can be based anywhere in Australia (although head office is based in Melbourne.)

 

Your new role:

As the People & Culture Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for leading activities relating to the functionality, enhancements and on-going maintenance of systems in the HR Function. This role works closely with HR, Recruitment, Payroll, and business stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements.

The role contributes to system projects, particularly around process improvements, implementation, reporting and training.

 

You will make an impact by:

  • Delivering continuous improvement of processes and practices within the HR Services team, prioritising compliance, quality, and positive customer experience
  • Leading all minor changes to the HRIS (Oracle) working along IT and the broader P&C team
  • Owning HR reporting including identifying and implementing improvements to reporting processes and practices
  • Leading the salary benchmarking processes and supporting the delivery of other performance and reward processes
  • Acting as an escalation point for the HR Services team on complex queries - troubleshooting, problem solving, stakeholder engagement, etc.
  • Project coordinator and stakeholder management to drive key initiatives

 

As an ideal applicant, you will have:

  • Previous experience within a HR Operations environment is advantageous
  • Demonstrated experience in the management/coordination of HR systems activities
  • Experience using HR Information Systems (HRIS), such as Oracle
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience of gathering requirements and translating these into systems improvements
  • Business analytical & reporting experience along with a high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A positive and proactive attitude towards work with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in various computer packages, including the MS Office suite
  • The ability and openness to be able to travel interstate
