About the company:

Our client an education body, based in the northern suburbs are looking for a Professional Development Manager to join their Professional Development team. You will be reporting directly into the Director of Human Resources and supporting two Professional Development Specialists.

You will be responsible for supervising Professional Development Specialists, facilitating learning and development initiatives and coordinating calibration efforts.

The role is full-time and is based on site.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Oversees all aspects of the professional development programs including, staff induction program and mentorship initiatives.
  • Supervises a team of Professional Development Specialists.
  •  Regularly engages and build relationships across the organistaion to promote awareness of the learning and development opportunities
  • Draft and maintain policies and guidelines to ensure learning and development program is fully utilised
  • Provides guidance to staff about the processes and procedures associated with professional development initiatives.
  • Coaches and guide stakeholders that require coaching as part of their learning plan.
  • Manage the software application, ensuring accurate and secure data recording.
  • Curate and maintain a professional development library.
  • Monitor the professional development initiative and gather data on trends, feedback etc.

About you:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Teaching, Human Resources, Psychology or Project Management.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in project management and implementation of change programs.
  • Experience delivering training to a large organisation
  • Experience working in the education industry or similar is highly desrabe
  •  Strong relationship, coaching. influencing and consultancy skills
