Senior Assistant Accountant | 11-Month FTC | Mascot | $100k + SuperWe are seeking an extremely organised and ambitious Senior Assistant Accountant to support the finance and payroll functions of a growing organisation in Mascot. This role does not offer working from home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
- Bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Management of vendor payments.
- Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and GL entries.
- Prepare various financial reports for management.
- Ad hoc financial support across the team.
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- 2-4 years’ experience in a similar, fast paced environment
- Excellent bookkeeping skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to take on constructive feedback and ask questions
- Excellent attention to detail and communication abilities
