About the Company:
My client is the financial services arm of a leading communications services group who offer advertising, public relations, Branding and identify and marketing infrastructures services.
About the Role:
This is quite a niche role in that that it is dealing with talent and freelancing invoices. It is a maternity leave contract with possibility to go permanent.
The purpose of the Accounts Payable Officer role is to provide a high level of effective and efficient Accounts Payable (AP) services for businesses within a shared service centre environment. The role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure payments and query resolutions are consistently delivered to a high standard. The role will also be responsible for developing business relationships with the Operating Companies being supported.
Duties:
- Talent creation in BCC
- Processing of talent and freelancer invoices
- Payment of talent and freelancer invoices
- Reconciliation of freelancer invoices
- Mont end reconciliation of talent transaction reports
- Calculation and payment of talent superannuation costs
- Generation and distribution of talent payment summaries
- Ensure that talent and freelances are created in BCC in accordance with internal policies
- Liaise with talent representative bodies as required
- Account payable support including:
- -Processing expense claims
- -Company credit card reconciliations
- -Process of supplier invoices in BCC
- -Upload of supplier payments
- -Other supplier ad-hoc duties as required
- -Process intercompany invoices
About You:
- 2+ years’ experience in the Accounts Payable field
- Strong people interaction and relationship building skills
- Sound data entry and administration experience
- Intermediate - advanced MS Office skills, with high degree of confidence in MS Excel
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Well organised with the ability to prioritise workloads
- Effective organisation skills with the ability to prioritise
- Flexible and adaptable attitude amidst an environment of constant change
- Working knowledge of AP principles, practices and regulations
- Strong attention to detail
