Charterhouse are partnered with one of our long-standing clients who are looking for a manager to join their growing team based in the heart of the CBD. The partners are Ex-top 10 meaning they have excellent processes in place. About the role
The firm are looking for a Business Services Manager to act as 2IC to one of the partners and can quickly progress onto Senior manager and future partnership within 12-18 months due to the acquisition of another firm.
This role will work closely with the Partners developing the business as well as managing existing clients and the day-to-day running of the firm. This role will also work across both compliance and advisory.
Some of the responsibilities of the role include:
- Managing a portfolio of around $800-900k in fees, along with 2 Accountants
- Clients: Wide range of clients across different industries; including manufacturing, financial services, HNWI, complex family groups up to around $100mill in turnover – some international clients
- Tax planning and restructuring advice
- Training and development of staff reporting into you
- Preparation, delegation, and review of compliance work including tax returns, financial statements, activity statements, FBT etc.
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team, developing future leaders
- Work alongside partners on firm-wide strategy, business development, and growth initiatives
Skills & Experience
- CA or CPA qualified
- Minimum 5+ years in Business Services & Tax
- Strong advisory skills
- Ability to manage portfolio whilst managing & motivating a team
