Job description
We have partnered with a global organisation in search for an AWS Data Engineer, to be based in Canberra for an initial 5 month period.
5-month contract initially
- $750-850 per day (incl. super)
- ASAP start
You must be passionate about Big Data, Data Analytics, AWS and Hadoop Stack. You will implement and drive adoption of new technologies to assist with a government department's data journey.
To be successful:
- Experience working in large scale cloud data solutions - AWS
- Data modelling working across a range of data technologies
- Experience building big data solutions
- Programming skills and/or scripting
- End to end delivery helping support and manage business stakeholders
- Familiarity with Agile engineering
- Data warehouse experience would be highly desirable in addition to Spark, HBase, HDFS & Hive
