Job description
This role is being offered as a permanent full time position | Accountant | Sydney CBD | International Law Firm.
CPA/CA nearly qualified or qualified essential | legal / professional services background preferable | 5+years working experience in Accounting (2 years in a similar role).
You will be responsible for full accounting duties - from overseeing AP/AR & Payroll functions to Financial Reporting and Analysis.
This role is paying up to $90k+super for the right candidate.
Overview of responsibilities:
- maintenance of general ledger
- month end processing inc variance analysis
- payroll processing
- tax compliance inc FBT, BAS & PAYG
- assisting with budgeting & forecasting
- stakeholder engagement and adhoc project work
The ability to work autonomously and to tight deadlines is key along with excellent communication skills and experience of dealing with various stakeholders.
