About the Company
Charterhouse is partnering with an AFR top 20 employer based in the heart of Sydney CBD. The firm is seeking a diligent and objective individual to join their high performing Assurance & Advisory team. You will be working under the guidance of either a Manager or an audit senior for larger clients whilst also having the opportunity to be an auditor-in-charge for smaller clients. About the Role
- Prepare concise and complete workpapers for audit testing
- For smaller audit assignments, the intermediate will have the opportunity to be the auditor-in-charge in which they will be expected to complete the audit file
- Identify basic audit issues during the course of performing audit testing and have an understanding of internal controls
- Communicate and liaise with clients to understand their business operations, needs and expectations
- Assist in reviewing the work of junior staff, completing appraisals and providing constructive feedback
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- CA or CPA fully/part qualified
- 18-36 months experience in an audit environment in a Chartered/CPA accounting practice
- Eager to learn and has a keen interest to grow their career
- Excellent interpersonal skills and good time management are essential
