Job description

Excellent opportunity for a Business Process Analyst to lead and support the implementation of business improvement / Service Excellence initiatives, define improved customer outcomes and deliver tangible benefits for services across the organisation. 

  • Parramatta Location - Close to Public Transport
  • Initial 6 Month Contract
  • High Profile Service Excellence Initiative  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide business analytics, process design / reengineering and process modelling support to ensure business problems are data-driven and that business solutions are robust, best-fit and viable
  • Develop end-to-end business processes to support effective business solutions, and the identification of both business and technical requirements that will improve business operations and enhance customer outcomes
  • Lead and manage projects, and support the implementation of a range of business improvement initiatives
  • Provide project management leadership to bring improvement ideas to life from project ideation, business case development, solution design, and through to project delivery and the implementation of key business and customer improvements (i.e. change management)
  • Influence and negotiate with managers to ensure the successful delivery of Service Excellence projects
  • Establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure people remain engaged and committed to continuously drive and deliver both customer and business outcomes at all levels of the organisation
  • Identify insights, patterns and trends for business improvement across the organisation 
  • Conduct and facilitate workshops, presentations and training sessions to drive a cultural change
  • Work with managers to enable new business processes and systems, and embed the new way of working

To be successful, you will need:

  • Tertiary degree qualified in a related field: business and commerce, information technology, relevant disciplines or demonstrated equivalent experience 
  • Diploma and Certificate level qualifications in appropriate fields and courses such as project management, business analytics, process optimisation and re-engineering, and change management 
  • 5 + years’ experience in leading, managing and delivering business improvements, projects and cultural change within a large and complex environment
  • Strong experience in project management, business case development, business analytics and process reengineering, solution design and change management, with clear delivery successes
  • Demonstrated knowledge in business improvement practices, tools and methodologies
  • Highly strategic 
  • Excellent ability to influence and negotiate 
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills across all levels of the organisation to successfully implement change  
  • Previous knowledge/experience in user experience (UX) and customer experience (CX) when articulating and designing business solutions to address the needs of customers and business stakeholders 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite of Products: Office, Project, Visio & Sharepoint 
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and to tight deadlines
  • Be able to effectively and accurately track a high number of improvement projects simultaneously
  • Highly autonomous
