Business Services Intermediate/ Senior

  • $68- 85k package depending on experience

Be inspired by 3 very passionate accounting Partners who each have progressed through the firm from a junior level and be a part of a personal and caring team who take that approach with both their staff and their clients. The firm has been established for more than 30 years so they have some very long-standing clients, this portfolio is continuously growing so there is now a need for an intermediate or senior accountant to join the team.
You will have direct contact with your clients and take ownership of a portfolio of Individuals, trusts, companies, partnerships and SMSF’s. The firm has over 150 SMSF’s, 4 of them being greater than $50m funds. In addition to this, more than 5 of their clients are ranked in the top 500 wealthiest in Australia.
Benefit from monthly training both internal and external workshops which is normally ended with a monthly staff BBQ. The team gather at 10am every day for a social catch up over coffee/tea together and this daily routine has led to a close-knit culture and great staff retention.  

The Role

In this role you will be supporting a Directors and Managers on a diverse portfolio of clients. As part of the business services team, you will provide business advisory and tax compliance services to your clients, you will also take an active role in helping to train and mentor junior members of staff.

You will be exposed to complex and interesting work aside from the usual business services & tax compliance work you will also be involved with large structuring/ restructuring, estate planning, tax advisory, complex div7a calculations, meeting with clients regularly, tax planning, budgeting, forecasting and overall acting as a trusted advisor to your client base.

About you 

This role is well suited to an ambitious intermediate who is eager to learn more and progress their career
To be considered you will be;

  • CA or CPA qualified/part qualified 
  • At least 2.5 years’ experience within a public practice firm 
  • An Australian Citizen or permanent resident
